Evgeny Byzov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education of the Ural State Medical University, took the first place at the Powerlifting and Power Sports Championship 2020 NPA. The competition was held in Sochi.

“In Sochi, I took first place in my weight and age category. Athletes from different countries took part in the competition, including Azerbaijan, Armenia,” said Yevgeny Byzov. The second stage of the Championship will be held in Ekaterinburg at the end of September.

Since 2012, Evgeny Byzov has been a regular participant of powerlifting competitions and individual events held by the National Powerlifting Association of Russia. He has been multiple time champion at the Russian, European and World events, held by NPA. In 2015 he was honored as Candidate Master of Sports and in 2016 received the full title of Master of Sports of NPA for bench press.
