“School of Health” project implemented by the “Medical Volunteers” USMU HQ together with NGO “Youth Health Center” will expand its boundaries.

For two months, from October to November 2022, the volunteers of the headquarters conducted field classes in the city of Pervouralsk (MAOU “Secondary School No. 7”), Polevskoy (MBOU PGO “School of the village of Kosoy Brod”) and “Secondary School N6 named after P.P. Bazhov”).

Within the framework of the project, medical volunteers covered such topics as “Giving up the use of psychoactive substances in favor of a healthy lifestyle”, “Rational nutrition is an alternative to bad habits” and “Reproductive behavior and HIV. STDs”.

Each lesson consisted of two parts: a theoretical one, where the volunteers presented lecture material to the audience in an interesting and accessible form, and a practical one, in which the participants consolidated their new knowledge with the help of a set of simple and useful physical exercises, answers to questionnaire questions, analysis of the composition of useful and harmful products, menu selection for the day.
