From May 23 to May 27 the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology hosted the IV Intra-University Microbiology Olympiad, in which 93 2nd year students took part. The Olympiad was held in two stages.
The final of the Olympiad was attended by 16 winners of the first stage from the medical and preventive, pediatric and preventive medicine faculties. The finalists were asked to solve situational tasks of increased complexity in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
The competition committee was attended by leading teachers of the Departments of Microbiology, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases. Measuring materials were prepared by the associate professor of the department, Candidate of Medical Sciences Zornikov Danila Leonidovich.
Results of the final round:
First place – Ryabov Alexander Alexandrovich (OLD-216).
Second place – Liang Pavel Georgievich (OLD-244).
The third place was shared by Popov Danil Valerievich (OLD-233) and Shadrin Sergey Andreevich (OLD-242).
