In the context of combating the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the Sverdlovsk Region, the number of students of the Ural State Medical University working as volunteers in departments of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing had doubled. At the same time, more than 470 students of the pediatric and preventive faculties of the Ural State Medical University are employed in medical institutions of Ekaterinburg and the region as junior and secondary medical personnel. Of these, more than a third work at the ER station named after V.F. Kapinos (67), in the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 40 (65) and in the Central Clinical Hospital No. 1 (42).
