The members of USMU choir have recorded own version of the famous song by Eduard Kolmanovsky and Lev Oshanin “People in White Coats” while on distant learning. Our students’ lives do not stand still, many of them also carry out volunteer tasks. At this difficult time for the country the team of the “Medical volunteers of the USMU” stand shoulder to shoulder with their future colleagues, work in the city’s healthcare facilities with databases, with the results of tests, received from Rospotrebnadzor, monitor the implementation of the Governor’s decree, checking retail stores and catering facilities, carry out telephone surveys of contact persons. Over the past week, USMU volunteers made more than 50 home visits bringing help to the veterans of University.

Among the members of the choir is Dmitry Shubin, who edited the video, also a winner of national contest “Volunteer of Russia – 2019”.

The song itself is filled with deep meaning and reminds us of simple truths and of people, who have chosen the noblest profession in the world, who are selflessly fighting for the lives of the people.
