Volunteers of the Ural State Medical University continue to actively help for the benefit of the health of the Urals!
Medical volunteers, together with employees of polyclinics, are engaged in audio monitoring of the condition of patients diagnosed with NKVI, help in issuing temporary disability certificates, and announce the results of PCR tests for COVID-19.
“For several weeks now I have been helping in outpatient department No. 1, Central Clinical Hospital No. 3. For me, this is a great opportunity to help our future colleagues, because despite the fact that the load on polyclinics is gradually decreasing, the need for help remains unchanged. I especially enjoy calling patients. It’s nice to realize that as a student you can already help a person. We manage not only to control the patient’s condition with the help of a special questionnaire, but also to fully implement the acquired communication skills and provide moral support to our interlocutor.” – Ornella Pak, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, shared with us.
