The results of the All-Russian competition “Golden Names of Higher Education”, which was held as a part of events dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology, were summed up.
The winner of the competition in nomination “For introduction of innovative teaching methods, development of higher education’s open information environment” was a chair of the Histology Department in Ural State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor Sazonov Sergey.
The competition was held among professors of Russian universities, who have high professional achievements in education, science, social, and educational activities, introducing new technologies into the educational process.
In 2021 more than 1.5 thousand applications were submitted for the competition from professors of country’s 74 regions and 179 universities. A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners at the Moscow House of Scientists took place in the capital.
At the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners, Sazonov S. was awarded with Diploma of the Higher School Professors League, Honorary Diploma No. 2021/06/009 for winning the competition “Golden Names of Higher Education”, signed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Falko V., Moscow, 2021. Also, an entry in the Honor Book of university professors of Russia was made together with the lapel badge “Golden Name of Higher Education” awarding.
The competition is aimed at raising a status of the higher education teaching profession and encouraging the winners with a public status and the award “Golden Name of Higher Education” with the placement of information about the winners on universities portals, in the Honor Book “Golden Names of Higher Education “, promotion of the winners and their methods in the future on radio and television, in print publications and newspapers, on profile portals and social networks.
The project “Golden Names of Higher Education” is an annual competitive selection on the recommendation of universities and scientific Russian institutions of the most worthy teaching staff representatives, which have personal success, achievements in the educational process using the latest techniques, innovative practices to improve the quality of education.
