Tour to Tyumen for students of medical university On November 21 and 22, 45 students of our university had an exciting tour “Tyumen as the capital of medical tourism”, thanks to the Competence Center of UGMU for organising the tour. On the first day, the students visited the iconic sights of the city, which are the result of the great work and enthusiasm of the pioneers and oil seekers. After that they had a chance to swim in thermal waters in the wellness thermal spring “Verkhny Bor”. And on the second day, the students managed to take part in the XII Therapeutic forum. The plenary session was opened by the Rector of UGMU — Olga Kovtun, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation with a report “Childhood origins of adult diseases: about early debuts and anxiety neuroses”. Outstanding scientists in the field of medicine and healthcare presented their reports. The second day of the tour and the forum gave all participants a huge amount of clinically significant information, acquaintances and emotions. “It was one of the best experiences of my life! I would like to thank our university for letting me know how to participate in a project like this (Russia country opportunity), through which I got to know new people, gained experience from the all the participants, getting to know new cities and valuable people, I liked this trip especially because it combined activities, events, leisure and medical specialization” – shared — Ahmed Sami a foreign student of our university.
