Russian doctors are doing exemplary work in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. This is stated in a joint article at the disposal of TASS, the Director of the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization (WHO) Hans Kluge and the representative of the organization in the Russian Federation Melita Vujnovich. The article is devoted to the results of 2020.

“In the Russian Federation, we have witnessed the heroic dedication, professionalism and selflessness of all healthcare workers in the fight against COVID-19. From the first days of the pandemic, they worked on the front lines and risked their health and lives every minute, the article says. “Their fulfillment of their professional duty is an excellent example for future generations.”

“Thousands of Russians have joined the volunteer movement in the country, providing free support to those in need, including psychological assistance, providing delivery and making their own personal protective equipment for doctors, delivering medicines and food to the elderly, caring for animals whose owners are sick,” they added in WHO.
