Second year students of the pediatric faculty went to practice at the multiprofile clinical medical center “Bonum”. In parallel with the fulfillment of specialized tasks, future doctors began to work as orderlies in the “red zone”.
Back in July, three wards for treatment of the adult COVID-19 patients were created at “Bonum”.
“I deliberately chose to study pediatrics when I entered the medical university. I know what unique operations are carried out at the “Bonum” children’s medical center, what great scientific work is being done here. Therefore, I was glad when I received a quota from the center. Now the doctors need need help treating adult COVID patients, so I offered my, although still little, skills and went to work as a nurse in the “red zone”, – said Anastasia Andreeva, a student of USMU.
Note that about 2 thousand people from our university participated in helping patients with coronavirus including students, residents and teachers.
