A fifth-year student of the preventive medicine faculty of the Ural State Medical University (USMU) Peter Gavrikov became a prize-winner of the IV Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference held at

Samara State Medical University. Peter successfully presented his report in the section “Public health and healthcare organization”.

“The report was devoted to the experience of using bibliometric software in epidemiology. These are special programs that allow you to track the dynamics of interest in a particular problem over a certain period of time. Thus, it is possible in a few minutes to track how the interest of scientists and researchers around the world in a particular issue has changed over several centuries. This software was tested, and the results obtained during its use were presented in the report,” said Peter Gavrikov.

The work was prepared at the Department of Epidemiology, Social Hygiene and Organization of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the USMU under the leadership of Acting Head of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Anna Kosova.
