The cycle of first aid classes, which was held for foreign students of different faculties, has finished this week.

The cycle included 3 classes. As a result of them, a test was passed and a certificate was received.

Now students have a beneficial knowledge that will be useful to them not only in studying but also might help to save someone’s life.

 Lesson 1:

-What is first aid?

-universal first aid algorithm

-rules for calling an ambulance

-CPR

-stable lateral position

-transportation of аn injured

Lesson 2:

-injuries (limb fractures, chest injuries, abdominal and pelvic injuries, head injuries)

-Heimlich maneuver (the help with airway obstruction)

-a help with hemorrhage

Lesson 3:

-burns and overheating

-hypothermia and frostbite

-poisoning
