On 13 July as part of the business program of the largest industrial exhibition INNOPROM the delegation of the Republic of Zimbabwe, consisting of: Rector of the Harare Institute of Technology Quinton Chamunorwa Kanhukamwe, General Counsel Rebecca Kawie and Head of the Department of Innovation, Science and Technology Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe Willie Davison Ganda visited the Ural State Medical University for the second time.

The meeting was attended by Rector Olga Kovtun, Vice-Rector for Perspective Development and International Relations Mikhail Flyagin and Head of the Office for International Education and Cooperation Daniil Chechikhin. The topic of discussion with delegation of the Republic of Zimbabwe was possible areas of cooperation between USMU and Harare University of Technology in the domain of science and technology, including in the sphere of medical equipment development.

The Rector of USMU Olga Kovtun and the Rector of the Harare Institute of Technology Quinton Chamunorwa Kanhukamwe signed a cooperation agreement at the end of the meeting.
