On March 14, foreign students of the Ural State Medical University (USMU), together with the Deputy Dean of the Dean`s Office of International Students Oksana Aleksandrovna Dudorova and Vice-Rector for Perspective Development and International Relations Mikhail Aleksandrovich Flyagin, attended the Maslenitsa celebration, which was held at the Mayakovsky Central Park of Culture and Leisure.

Students danced, led khorovodes, participated in folk amusements, talked with pleasure and took pictures with other guests of the park. The culmination of the holiday was the burning of a six-meter straw effigy in the central square of the park. Foreign medical students not only had fun, but also immersed into Russian culture, the atmosphere of folk festivities.
