Lipatov Georgy Yakovlevich is the head of the Department of Hygiene and Occupational Diseases, doctor of medical sciences, Professor, honored worker of higher school.

The Department was established in 1995 by merging the Department of communal hygiene with a course of hygiene of labor and Department of food hygiene and occupational diseases. The newly formed department was headed by the doctor of medical sciences, Professor G. Ya. Lipatov, honored worker of Higher school of Russia.
