Students and residents of  USMU were rewarded for their contribution to the fight against COVID-19. Letters of appreciation from the Russian Ministry of Health

were given to 30 students. The ceremony took place at the meeting of the Academic Council on November 19.

Merits of 10 students of Treatment-and-prophylactic faculty were awarded. They are Eduard Arebiev, Kirill Vshivtsev, Kirill Zarya, Tatyana Stepanova, Victoria Ivanova, Ksenia Nerush, Olesya Gubina (all of them are 6th year students), Evgeny Vostryakov, Maria Malinkina and Olga Sagadeeva (4th year students). Future pediatricians Maria Khramova, Tatyana Vyukhina, Ksenia Pavlova, Evgenia Zhukova, Ekaterina Belkanova, Alena Kornilina and Stepan Cherny (5-6 year students) also received letters of appreciation. From the Faculty of  Dental Medicine Anastasia Perevertunova (4th year student) and Anastasia Pelenitsyna (5th year student) were awarded.

From among the residents, letters of appreciation from the Russian Ministry of Health were received by Evgeny Ananin, Evgenia Isakova (“Anesthesiology-resuscitation”), Natalia Vlasova, Anna Antonova, Elena Ismagilova (“Infectious Diseases”), Artem Khizadze and Daria Strelova (“Obstetrics and Gynecology”), Ksenia Chukhareva and Valeria Mikhailova (“Therapy”).

Professors of USMU were also awarded at the Academic Council.
