A regular meeting of the Student Scientific Circle dedicated to functional disorders of the digestive system in children of the first year of life was held at the Department of Faculty Pediatrics and Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases of the Ural State Medical University on October 26. Regurgitation, infantile colic, constipation are the complaints most often encountered by pediatricians at outpatient appointments.

The students not only prepared theoretical reports, but also collected an anamnesis, examined the child, and planned patient management tactics with an emphasis on dietary correction under professor’s supervision.

The meeting of the scientific circle traditionally ended with an exciting thematic pediatric quiz.
