Educational department of USMU is the structure which reports to Vice-rector for educational affairs, organizing and supervising the implementation of educational programs, implementation of curriculum in accordance with the existing license and certificate of accreditation of the University. The purpose of the educational department is the control of the educational process in accordance with the Mission of the University, the principles of the quality management system of USMU, the Bologna agreements.
Educational department was established 80 years ago including one employee, making the schedule, making out the documents of the enrolled students and graduates. Currently the structure of the department includes 3 sections (teaching and organizational activities, methodological support and introduction of innovative technologies, organization and carrying out practical training, maintenance of personal files of students). Among the 8 employees 2 candidates of Sciences, one is a postgraduate student.

— monitoring of the educational activities of the University and the analysis of the effectiveness of measures to optimize the educational environment, improve the quality of specialists training;
— promotion of the creation of educational environment in the university, allowing the use of modern information and communication technologies in the field of training and methodological support of educational process and in the field of its management and organization;
— study and introduction in daily practice of modern achievements in the field of higher education in general and health care in particular.
